Hunwick Needs You

Although not being organised by the Joiners Arms a group of people from Hunwick are appealing for your help. they want to put on a Family Fun Day on the village green this August but red tape and insurance costs means that some funds are needed first. It is all intended to raise funds for the British Lung Foundation so is for a good cause.

On Bank Holiday Monday the 4th of May a few things will be happening to help with this effort.

A sponsored walk will take place. (They would like people to join in the walk or to offer a little sponsorship. Also required is any help with marshalling)

A tombola and raffle are to be held at The Joiners Arms from 12 noon. (anyone wishing to donate or prize for this can do so by dropping them off at 3 or 5 North View)

A raffle is being held for a luxury hamper at The Joiners too. Please do pop in and buy a ticket.

And finally a quiz is going to be held in the Joiners Arms at 4pm. All proceeds will go to raising funds for The British Lung Foundation.
