Coming Up!

What with all this talk of obesity in the news recently we thought we would come up with something to help. That's why we at The Joiners have decided to take part in National Pie Week.

This year Pie week takes place from Monday the 1st of March but here in the Joiners we'll be dishing up some of the nations favourite homemade pies from the 3rd until Saturday the 6th of March... there may even be some left for Sunday Lunch of that week too.

Talking of Sunday Lunch, need i remind you that Mothering Sunday is on the 14th of March this year. We will not be making any extra charge for this special Sunday Lunch, just our normal low prices. You WILL need to book for this one. 01388 605131.

We all like the sport of kings don't we, and the Cheltenham Festival takes place Tuesday the 16th until March the 19th of March. We will be opening up from 1pm on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to watch dreams won and lost. friday normal opening.

The Wednesday of that week will see us celebrating the patron saint of our neighbours Ireland as it is St Patricks day on the 17th of March. We will be having Irish Stew, Irish Music an Irish Quiz and of course specials on our Irish Drinks. Begorrah! If that is how you spell it.

Mon the 29th March 'til Sun the 4th April is our CASK ALE WEEK. Special offers on our cask consitioned ales all week. and this leads us to......

EASTER WEEKEND

Good Friday Fish and chips for lunch and then our annual special, super duper, fantabulous fish night. The regular menu will also be available.

Easter Sunday. You'd better get booking now for easter Sunday Lunch and then stay with us later for our annual Egg Jarping Competition. That starts at 8pm. Dunno what Egg Jarping is? Well you are in for a packed house treat.

Then we have Bank Holiday Monday, we'll be open all day with Darts and Doms knockout from 5pm.
