The chaps from Spice Lounge down in Fore Bondgate did us proud. They turned up and with the minimum of fuss dished up a fantastical selection of sub continental delicacies.
Everyone started off with poppadoms accompanied by the various onion salads, mango chutney, lime pickle etc and proceeded onto the main starter. This time it consisted of Chicken pakoras, Samosa, onion bhaji and salad accompanied by raita.
The mains were a success too with everyone being handed four to try. Chicken Jalfrezi, Chicken Korma, Lamb Balti and Saag Aloo all came with pilau rice and the (surely by now) famous Spice Lounge naan.
This was then followed by a traditional dessert made from milk curds and pistachio and then coffee...all for 12 squids!
Needless to say we want them back. That's why we asked them back and to our amazement they said yes!
